Route 109 has been permanently extended past Sullivan Square to Harvard Square. This extension of Route 109 replaces Route 86 on Washington Street between Sullivan and Harvard. Learn more: MBTA.com/109
• Service has been increased to every 15 minutes or better every day during service hours as Route 109 has been upgraded to a Frequent Bus Route. • Service runs from 4:55 AM to 1:22 AM weekdays, and 5 AM to 1:20 AM on weekends. • It continues to run from Linden Square to Sullivan Square, and has been extended south past Sullivan to Harvard. This extension of Route 109 replaces the existing Route 86 on Washington Street between Sullivan Square and Harvard Square. • This extended route provides a new direct connection from Everett to the Green Line in Somerville and the Red Line at Harvard Square.
